This week’s TV, Radio and print

It’s been an extremely busy week for us.

On Thursday Aug 8th, after we hit an incredible milestone on our petition, with more than 25,000 people signing up, we appeared on the BBC Breakfast sofa. We also featured in more than 200 other media outlets with interviews on ITV Meridian, Radio Scotland, Greatest Hits Radio, The Northern Echo and many national and regional newspapers.

We also learned that the crucial documentary by Fine Point Films for the BBC, which first revealed that the files on the 1994 Mull of Kintyre RAF Chinook crash were locked away for 100 years, is being re-broadcast on Sunday 16th and Sunday 24th August on BB2 at 9pm. Read about that here on News from Scotland.

Watch Lucy Sparks, Jenni Balmer-Hornby and Andy Tobias on BBC Breakfast News.

Watch Susan Phoenix and Niven Phoenix on ITV Meridian

The Times - first to break the story that the PM is hiding behind the lies told by the Ministry of Defence

This led to a further wall-to-wall media coverage, with another 100+ publications and broadcasters reporting the news, and our reaction. We are not disappointed, we find the Prime Minister’s response utterly pathetic, and we are totally disgusted.

You can read our views on BBC News, STV News, Daily Telegraph, The Irish News, Daily Record, Daily Mail, The Independent, and many, many others.

You can hear Jenni Balmer-Hornby’s reaction to the PM’s decision - on BBC Radio Scotland
